You know, I’m wondering about the answers to the same question. How are they doing?

There’s this dude out there who loved Microsoft Zune so much (pause…go ahead laugh it out or let the disbelief set in) he got tattoos of the Zune on him:

He certainly looks the part, doesn’t he?
Well, he probably had an epiphany and decided to to not love the Zune anymore and cover his tattoos:
I am done. I have had the Zune since day 1 and have noticed little improvement. I have tried my best to support them every step of the way but the recent Xbox Live announcement at E3 made me lose it. To not include Zune Markmarketplace or the ability to load videos from Xbox Live to your Zune made me finally give up. I am in the works of figuring the best way to get a new tattoo to cover the logo on my arm. Thanks for all the harsh comments and you will see very little of me anymore.
WTF was this guy thinking having tattoos of a brand? In any case, what’s important is that he finally saw the light.
Obama and McCain biographies:

Wow, what would they come up with next? (and very good likenesses, I must say.)
Actually, this doesn’t seem like a bad idea. I remember hearing about the 911 report in graphic novel format. The project lead said that the actual report had hundreds of pages, would be really boring to read and that comics would be an apt format to relay information concisely.
So I guess, this already legitimizes comics/sequential art/graphic literature as a mature medium.
And the Japanese are already well, waAAAy ahead the rest of us.
I was actually wishing they’d come out with a toy for that robot. I would’ve so bought that. I’m referring to this guy:

He’s a Mountain Dew vending machine that transforms into a four-armed Decepticon. Here’s a cleaner render of him:

He’s officially named Dispensor. And here’s the toy:

Geez…cutesy figurines? I was hoping they’d come up with a Deluxe class figure. Oh wel…I guess a joke can only go so far.
Woot!
I hope Snyder didn’t mess this up. The fanboys can moan all they want–they really shouldn’t matter–but I really hope the serious critics will be satisfied. At least the production design looks great.
And Alan Moore? I dunno…
If you haven’t noticed it yet, I have a link to Grupo de Action Capoeira in my Links section.
For those interested in learning Capoeira (sorry, Metro Manila, Philippines only), here’s the info that you need:
* it’s in Club650 in Libis, Quezon City
* PHP 2400 for 12 sessions but you can try it for free for the first time
* Classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 PM to 9 PM and Saturdays 10 AM to 12 noon
* For Saturday-only classes, it’ll be for PHP 2000 for 8 sessions
* For further inquiries, you can call or text 0915-769-5269
There are supposed to be classes in other venues but I don’t have the info. You may call the number above for this info.
I’ve been taking these Capoeira classes for more than a month now and boy, am I having the time of my life. Sure, my body was pulsing with pain after my first session but that’s natural–you wake up muscles you don’t normally use. I actually can do handstands now (albeit for a second or so but it’s still a handstand) and a bit of acrobatics. The kicks I do easily; I had martial arts training before but the ground moves and the philosophy sure are valuable additions to my martial arts repertoire.
As a bonus, here’s a really cool Capoeira video:
